This is a dedication to a dear friend of mine; she was on the verge to committing suicide. All her life seemed to be miserable, she had problems with relatives, she had constant problems with her friendships, and what hurt her most, the one she loved hadn’t loved her back. She fell into a highly dramatic depression; she couldn’t find her sleep during the evenings. Sometimes, according to her; she went days without any sleep. Eating poorly, crying constantly, sudden anger outburst.
She came to me, cried her soul out, told me she loved me and that she always cherished my loyal friendship, but that she was done with life. The night anterior she hadn’t slept, she layed atop her bed crying madly. The thought of death, and suicide finally became understandable to her. She cried, she threw things against the wall, let out her anger and awaited the next day to speak to me.
“I’m taking my life today, thank you for everything darling.” she said to me. I clung onto her, like a baby to their guardian. We talked for hours while we both cried hysterically; I managed to make the minor sense to her. She re-thought her plans, and visited a counselor. Now approximately a year later, she is happy, and she prays to the lord that her past events will not occur again.
I thank the lord for giving me words to speak, to avoid tragedies like the one which almost occurred before me.
So this is photo is for her -- I’m glad you are still with us. Your life is worth more than what you thought it was, it’s worth the world to many, including myself.

that's a really sad story but with a happy ending (well kind of happy, it's sad she had to go through that in the first place), and that's an amaazing photo as well
Simplemente hermoso... No encuentro las palabras para describir lo emotiva que es esta fotografía. Y me alegro mucho que tu amiga no cometiera el error de quitarse la vida. Gracias a Dios le pudiste ayudar a que no se diera por vencida.
